Pieter Grové’s journey to founding Bi-lectric, an innovative Electrical & Energy Renewable company, in September 2016 is a remarkable tale of vision, passion, and environmental consciousness.

Pieter Grové, born and raised in a small town, had always been fascinated by the potential of renewable energy sources. His fascination transformed into a driving ambition during his high school years when he studied electrical engineering. He was driven to make an impact on the unreliable grid supply crisis in South Africa and recognised the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions.

After qualifying, Grové decided to take matters into his own hands. In September 2016, armed with his knowledge, determination, he founded Bi-lectric. The name, a fusion of “bio” for nature and “electric” for energy, reflected the company’s commitment to harnessing renewable resources for clean electricity generation.

Bi-lectric started small, with a modest office and a few dedicated employees. Pieter and his team began by researching and developing innovative renewable energy technologies. Their initial focus was on solar panels, Battery storage & inverters, seeking ways to make them more efficient, affordable, and accessible to a broader range of customers.

What set Bi-lectric apart from the competition was its unwavering dedication to sustainability and back-up power, Pieter insisted on high quality practices at every stage of planning and installation.
